Baptist Chaplain
Introduction
My role as chaplain is to help people develop their soul, inspire them about Jesus and help students adjust to life at Curtin. Whether it is referring people to a good church with plenty of university students, helping people find friends or just be a listening ear over a free coffee I am there.
I love organising camps, trips to Christian youth concerts, social events by the beach or discussion groups based on the bible.
Feel free to contact me anytime and I will work around your schedule.
Services & Activities
We have an number of great activities to offer students:
- The Baptist Chaplaincy organises a bible study on Wednesday nights 7.15 pm. Please contact me for transport from student housing etc.
- Social events throughout the semester
Baptist Beliefs
Our beliefs are based on the Bible and can be outlined as follows:
- Baptists are a mainstream Christian denomination believing in the Trinity, Bible, Christ’s death on the cross etc. We have the third largest attendance on Sunday mornings out of all the different churches and we are rapidly growing.
- We believe that all Christians who put their faith in Christ will be received by God regardless of the church they attend.
- All students who consider themselves Christian (or are interested in Christianity) are welcome to join our activites in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
